The Challenge

Redesigned a complex video content platform, streamlining key user journeys (video discovery, playlist curation, and embedding widgets). Led UX/UI research and design independently, collaborating directly with product leadership. The solutions were successfully handed off for development and significantly enhanced user workflows.

Monetization was too complicated. Tasks that should be simple were overly complex and required specialized knowledge.

User flows were unclear. Users felt lost about what steps to take next, leading to frustration and high dropout rates.

Technical skills barrier. Setting up and embedding videos was challenging, especially for non-technical users.

These issues led to slow adoption, fewer video embeds, and higher support costs. My redesign focused on intuitive tasks, clear user paths, and easy-to-access insights.

The Challenge

Process & Solutions

I compressed that journey to 4 decisive steps - each one built, tested, and refined by me.

First stop in the flow: publishers jump in here to grab fresh clips before building a playlist.

Challenge: Cut through 1.2 K+ results and surface a “right-now” video in seconds.

Looking ahead: add semantic search + AI Smart-Playlist: “Most beautiful places to visit in Italy” instantly serves drone shots of Cinque Terre, Tuscan sunrises, and Venice canals, then auto-assembles an 8–10-clip reel .
